Breaking News: Actor Bill Paxton Dies At 61

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce that beloved Hollywood actor, Bill Paxton, has passed away after complications from surgery.

Paxton has had a lengthy and successful career for the past 4 decades. In the early 80’s, he landed small roles in films like Stripes, Terminator, Aliens, and Weird Science. But it was in the 90’s that Bill really started making a name for himself in major blockbuster films like Tombstone, True Lies, and Apollo 13.

Two of his biggest credits have also gone on to be two beloved films. Titanic, where he played a treasure hunter who is searching for the Heart of the Ocean, and Twister, in which he played the jilted ex-husband to a storm chaser and joins her for a day of excitement and terror.

In recent years, Mr. Paxton has been found on the screen in popular TV shows like Big Love, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Training Day.

On a day that’s supposed to be celebrating the accomplishments of the Hollywood Elite we will be remembering an amazing man who brought such a unique character to every role he played.
